Vasant Panchami is one of the most important Hindu spring festivals, celebrated on the sacred panchami (fifth day) of the month of Magha. This day is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the patron of knowledge, arts, music, and wisdom. In many regions of India, this day marks the beginning of spring preparations and the new year.
